MASSAGE THERAPY
The Massage Therapy curriculum teaches 7 styles of massage along with specialty classes to educate the student in the broader range of how massage is used in today’s marketplace. The program is accredited by the Department of Education and the curriculum satisfies requirements of the American Body Workers Association, and International Massage & Movement Schools. The instructors have over 20 years of experience in training massage therapists through the Wellness Resources Center of Dartmouth, Massachusetts. They are practicing Massage Therapists. The course consists of 280 hours of course work, 50 hours of community service/clinical experience, and 320 practicum hours held at the Wellness Resource Center in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Program Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Interview
- Health examination with immunizations (required by law)
- A satisfactory CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information)
Clinical facilities reserve the right to conduct an additional CORI on students. Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday retreats at the Wellness Resource Center, Dartmouth MA.
