PC SPECIALIST PROGRAMThe PC Specialist is an intensive program designed to provide students with the technical skills required to prepare for the A+ Certification exams and to prepare for entry level positions in the Computer Support Field.
The course of study includes an overview of personal computer hardware components and several operating systems. Students will develop an understanding of how the hardware and the software interact in a working system. They will learn to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with both the hardware and software.
The course is taught by an experienced instructor. Maximum class size is 10 students. The course consists of 75 hours, beginning in October and Ending in March. Class is held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 and occasional Saturdays.
