PHLEBOTOMY COURSE SCHEDULE
Classes begin: September and February
Classes meet: Monday & Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Classroom Hours Requirement: 120 hours
CPR Training (Saturday class)
Clinical Hours Requirement: 120-160 hours
Clinical hours are done during the day full-time Monday through Friday for 3-4 weeks of 40 hours. A minimum of 120 hours is required to complete the clinical portion of the Phlebotomy Program. Part-time clinical assignments are not available.

Special Collections and Point-of-Care Testing
Arterial Puncture Procedures
Nonblood Specimens and Tests
Computers and Specimen Handing and Processing
Geriatrics vs. Pediatrics
Things to consider before clinical placement
Students must obtain a grade of 77% or better in class and lab in order to be placed in a clinical site. Clinical sites evaluate each student on his or her technical skills. Only one (1) clinical site per student. Absolutely no exceptions.
